A little bit about Matt and Mark...

Matt Sparkes has been a keen, all-round coarse angler since childhood and has been collecting fishing tackle from yesteryear for 20 years.  He has been a weekly contributor for the Angler's Mail for the last 12 years as their 'Angling Historian' and with his 5-year run of 'Easy Learning With Matt Sparkes' weekly feature.

Mark Terry has been running his successful website, www.antiquevintagefishingtackle.co.uk, for nearly 20 years, offering high end collectible fishing tackle to happy clients from across the globe.  He is a river keeper, on a stunning stretch of the Dorset Frome, keeping a 3 mile stretch in tip-top condition for visiting game and grayling anglers.

Both Matt and Mark have fished since childhood and enjoy fishing for a range of species - Mark is a top notch game angler, while Matt targets all coarse species...and especially enjoys catching carp on vintage carp tackle!
