t sure what this rod was originally intended for, but it's a bit of a beast. I would estimate the test curve at around 3-4lbs. Made by renowned rod builder Bob Southwell, who went under the name Captain Croydon. Called the Gill Special, and measuring 10' in length, with a 32.5" cork handle, with screw reel type fitting. Brass suction ferrule, and recently been restored with new rings.
